Open Visual Studio Code

Search for “VSCoder Copilot”
Click the Install button
Restart VS Code when prompted

Generate Pairing Code

Open Command Palette (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + P)
Type “VSCoder: Start Server”
Copy the generated pairing code
Keep VS Code running

Get the VSCoder Copilot mobile app on your Android device.

Open Google Play Store
Search “VSCoder Copilot”
Install and open the app

Connect Your Devices

Complete the pairing process to establish a secure connection.

Open the VSCoder mobile app
Navigate to Settings/Profiles
Tap “Add New Profile”
Enter your pairing code
Name your profile
Tap “Connect” to request validation

Click “Approve Device” in VS Code to complete pairing

When a mobile device attempts to connect to your VS Code workspace, you’ll receive a security prompt asking for your approval. This ensures only trusted devices can access your code.

Approved devices get secure authentication tokens
